Who Doesn't Love A Great Deal?!

So my bestie, "The Future Mrs. N" is getting married in October!  [Insert squeal of excitement here.]

We had been looking at dresses and thought we had decided on this little number from Rent the Runway. *  Isn't it cute?!  (Sorry for the blurry photos...RTR only had microscopic images for me to steal borrow.)

Well, TFMN decided after much thought and consideration and too many sleepless nights that this was in fact NOT the right dress for her maids to be wearing on her wedding day.  Girls, if you are in this same situation, go with your gut!!!  She did and I know she will not be disappointed.  So let me introduce you to our new lovely little number....drum roll please....

The Bow Monde Dress in Silk Taffeta from J. Crew.  Classic, Simple, Chic, Gorgeous!!!!!!!

Now on to the point of this post... "Who Doesn't Love A Great Deal?!"  This little number retails on jcrew.com for $250.00 but I scored it on ebay for only $65.00!!!!  Yes ladies, $65.00!  There are quite a few listed in the $140 range, but I saw this one in "completed listings" that hadn't sold.  Because it was such an incredible price, I emailed the seller and asked if she would be willing to re-list the dress.  Without hesitation, she responded and had the dress listed the same day!  What an incredible deal!!!!  I can't wait for it to arrive!  :)
*BTW - If you have not used RTR in the past, you must!!!  The service is fabulous and their customer service department is super friendly and helpful!  I'm not getting any kick-backs from them either, this is my own personal testimonial!

Anyway, you get the dress in two different sizes (for the same price) to make sure you have one that fits!  And!!!  Yes, there is more!!! (I feel like this is an infomercial...)  If you want to rent a second dress, you can get it for a hugely discounted price - again in two sizes!!!  The dresses are delivered to your door clean and pressed in their own little black garment bag.  When you are finished with the dress, you simply put it in the already addressed and posted mail bag, drop it in any blue USPS mailbox and that's it!  I swear it is so simple and wonderful!

Shhhh!  Don't tell RTR I told you this, but check around before you order because you can usually find discount codes!  :)

OK...so I fell off the bloggy train.  But I'm back and going to give it a go one more time!  Two of my favorite bloggers, Pink Lou Lou and A. Liz  had posts that inspired me to get back on and start posting!  So here goes nothing!  :)

A quick game of 'Catch-Up' since the last time I posted in March (gasp...March?!...Really?!  Ooops...).

I planned and helped to host a lovely Bridal Shower for my now Sister-In-Law, Laura, at Prince Street Cafe in Lancaster, PA.

My mom and I took a roadtrip to Orlando, FL to visit my cousin.  While we were there we got to see the last shuttle launch of the Atlantis; it was AMAZING!  And of course no trip to Orlando is complete without seeing Mickey!  We hit all four Disney parks in one day!

My mom's bestie, 'Auntie Debbie' and her hubby came for a visit.  We did too much shopping and drank too much wine.  It was fabulous!  We also went to Charleston, SC to visit my brother for his birthday and had a great dinner at HUSK.
